October 2025 – Our team recently attended the World Aviation Festival in Lisbon, and it was a highly productive experience.

The festival took place from October 7-9 at the FIL Exhibition Centre, bringing together over 4,500 aviation professionals from airlines and airports worldwide. It provided an excellent opportunity to showcase our aviation accelerators and connect with industry leaders.

What Are Dreamix Accelerators?

One of the most common questions we received was about what our accelerators actually are. In simple terms, they're:

  • Industry-validated frameworks - proven solutions based on real aviation needs
  • Pre-built architecture and components - ready-to-use foundations that work out of the box
  • Fully customizable - adaptable to your specific requirements and workflows
  • Fast to implement - built in weeks, not years

We presented three accelerators designed to improve aviation operations:

  • Group Check-In - streamlining the check-in process for group travel
  • Mobile Boarding - enabling seamless mobile boarding experiences
  • Lounge Management - optimizing lounge operations and customer experience

The interest from attendees was substantial. Many were curious about how our solutions could help them save time and reduce operational costs. We ran live demos throughout the event, which allowed visitors to observe how the accelerators work and the value they bring.

A major highlight of the event was having our lead engineer on-site - the person who actually architected and built these accelerators. His presence made a huge difference. When attendees wanted to go beyond the surface and understand the technical architecture, implementation details, or the engineering decisions behind the solutions, he could dive as deep as needed.

Insights and Connections

We also recorded short videos with industry experts who shared their vision for aviation's future, current challenges, and what excites them most about the industry.

One topic that kept coming up was AI. While the hype is still strong, we noticed a shift in how the aviation community talks about it. There's a growing concern that rushing to implement AI without careful consideration can create more problems than it solves. People are waking up to the fact that AI isn't the answer to everything, and in some areas of aviation, its unpredictability makes it more of a risk than a solution.

Beyond our booth, we stayed busy throughout the festival. We attended keynote sessions with senior management from major airlines, visited other exhibitor booths to explore innovative solutions in the aviation space, and participated in networking sessions and evening receptions.

We were particularly impressed by several innovative companies we encountered. OneReg stood out with their vision to reimagine aviation compliance - not as a regulatory burden, but as an embedded part of everyday operations. Trifork demonstrated how Apple Vision Pro can simulate airplane cockpit training, dramatically reducing costs from €4,000 per hour for actual flying to just €100 per hour using the headset. Synapse Aviation showcased their visual briefing application that eliminates the surprises of operating to new airfields, using robust 3D software to enhance pilot situational awareness and decision-making. AeroSight impressed us with their flight data monitoring solution that helps aircraft operators implement effective safety programs - they provide accurate statistics and safety trends with presentation-ready reports by simply uploading flight data files, making it both time-saving and easy to use.

All these conversations with smart people trying to disrupt the industry provided fresh perspectives and inspiration that will shape how we develop our services and solutions. We're returning with a deeper understanding of industry needs and plently of meaningful new connections.
