Why Peter, why now

As we look to deepen that expertise further and reach more of the healthcare and life sciences community, we wanted an advisor who has lived on the science and business side of that world, not just the technology side.
Peter brings exactly that. He is the co-founder of Scailyte, an ETH Zurich spin-off building an AI platform for biomedical and clinical discovery from single-cell and multi-omics data, which he led for nine years as a CEO before moving into a strategic advisor role. Over that time, he raised more than CHF 20 million in venture financing and grants, generated several million more through pharma and biotech partnerships, and led a diagnostic programme from а single-cell discovery through to a strategic asset sale, publication, and patenting. Earlier in his career, he helped introduce some of the first commercial single-cell analysis technologies to Switzerland and today chairs a European CEO peer group, remaining closely embedded in the Swiss and DACH healthcare, life sciences and AI ecosystem.
Peter’s combination of scientific credibility, commercial experience and an established network makes him a strong fit to help bring Dreamix’s 10+ years of healthcare expertise to the organizations that can benefit most from it.
His decision to work with Dreamix is also grounded in what he has been hearing directly from the field. Through his work with healthcare networks, hospitals, clinical organizations and diagnostics companies across Switzerland and DACH, Peter has seen firsthand why digital and AI adoption can be difficult: years of accumulated legacy infrastructure often make integrating yet another out-of-the-box solution challenging.
