Georgi Nikolov 2 - Georgi Nikolov of Dreamix Named a Winner at EY's CFO of the Year 2025

Dreamix's finance director was recognised in the "Transformation of the Finance Function" category at the anniversary edition of the competition organised by EY Bulgaria

Georgi Nikolov, finance director at Dreamix, has been recognised in the "Transformation of the Finance Function" category at this year's CFO of the Year competition. The award was presented at a ceremony organised by EY Bulgaria, held for the tenth, anniversary time this year. The event was attended by nearly 200 guests from leading Bulgarian companies.

The jury recognised Georgi Nikolov for a series of changes that built a faster and more transparent finance function at Dreamix. His specific achievements include integrating AI tools into the finance team's daily work, implementing an ERP system that shortened the monthly closing cycle, and introducing a system for managing and controlling costs.

"I'm grateful to receive this award, and I see it as a testament to what our team has built together. Everything we built in Dreamix is the result of an exceptional team work and a company culture that empowers people to be creative and raise the bar. My gratitude goes to my finance team and to the entire Dream Team at Dreamix - this award is as much theirs as it is mine" - said Georgi.

EY Bulgaria's CFO of the Year competition is the only one of its kind in the country and puts the spotlight on the role of the finance director as a strategic business partner. Over the past decade, the competition has recognised more than 150 finalists and over 50 winners. This year, awards were presented across seven categories.

The ceremony was opened by Nikolay Garnev, managing partner of EY for Bulgaria and Southeast Europe, who described the competition as a tradition that has built a community of finance leaders and good practices over the past ten years.
